Rush and Shelby County Court & Child Advocacy Group

‘CASA’ stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. A CASA volunteer acts as an advocate for a child declared in need of services by the local court. CASA volunteers are not paid but volunteer their time to make a positive impact on the lives of these children. Volunteers are trained to be the unbiased voice of the child in the  court room. We believe that all children deserve peace, safety, and happiness. A CASA’s obligation is to the child first. We strive to be fair and impartial in all we do.
